About LaTrossica:
LaTrossica Wilson, a Memphis native and author, is a nationally recognized advocate dedicated to breaking the silence around incest, rape, and sexual abuse. She sits on the Shelby County Nonprofit Arts Committee and Shelby County Youth and Education Committee. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Information Systems, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and certifications in Trauma-Informed Coaching, Women’s Entrepreneurship, and Danger Assessment. Her honors include the Tri-State Defender Best in Black Author Award and WREG-News Channel 3 Memphis Community Changer Award.
As Founder and Executive Director of the No More Silence Foundation (NMSF)—a 501(c)(3) since June 2018—she leads the P.E.C. Program (Prevention, Education, and Coping), empowering survivors ages toddlers to senior citizens and protecting children through arts-based healing. Under her leadership, NMSF earned a proclamation from Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris and partnership of the Shelby County Culture Pass Program.
A Christ-believer, wife, and mother, LaTrossica’s mission is clear: no victim should ever be blamed or silenced—their stories matter, and their voices deserve to be heard.
